Quebec 2012

The Aurora School Board approved 5 night, 6 day trip to Montréal and Québec for Presidents Day weekend 2012. Here are links to the information that was shared at the informational meetings on February 15th and 16th, 2011, and again in September when new students were invited to join. With 45 student participants, the final price is $699.

Quebec 2012

This trip will be chaperoned by M. Frankmann and M. Sarmiento from Harmon and Mme Cook et Mlle Pavicic from AHS.

All systems are go for the trip. We are having a final meeting at Harmon in the Commons at 7pm on Monday, February 13th. Please bring your travel documents and photo ID's along with any outstanding travel permission forms and medical forms. This is also the time to turn in medications.


We will provide contact information including the phone chain, and answer any final questions.

I've been assured by M. Marc LaFlamme at the École Secondaire de Rochebelle whose 7th and 8th graders are corresponding with mine and some of whom may meet up with us at the Village des Sports that there is plenty of Snow in Québec. All our winter activities are on- so please bring your winter gear. 2 pairs of gloves. Good socks. Good boots. Tuque. Layers. Good coat...
We will be leaving from and returning to Harmon. Bus pick up and drop off is at Harmon.

The school visit has been confirmed. We will be visiting the students of Mme Marie Claude Carrier at L'École Sécondaire Les Etchemins
The hotels both have indoor pools, so you should bring a suit if you'd like to swim. However, we may not have time depending on pool hours and our itinerary on any given day.
